A radical forum of youth-led expression bridging art, science, and activism.
Curated for the youth of tomorrow.
ICEY ARTS is a transdisciplinary, academically grounded youth movement operating at the intersections of art, science, architecture, urbanism, performance, and public policy.
We support creators, researchers, and thinkers under 40 — enabling them to rethink the systems shaping our futures: urban, ecological, social.
Where others exhibit art, we stage critical inquiry.
Where institutions speak from above, ICEY speaks from within — the street, the classroom, the lab, the forum.
We dismantle disciplinary walls for hybrid practices: where performance meets policy, data meets design, and theory becomes intervention.
We treat creativity not as output but as inquiry, a tool to question, provoke, and engage the systems that shape everyday life.
We rewire how culture is accessed and produced, shifting power from institutions to individuals with ideas worth hearing.
Streets, squares, and screens become our stages, reclaiming the commons as places for visibility, resistance, and collective imagination.
We support under-40 creators to speak to and disrupt narratives around identity, governance, climate, memory, and urban change.
We are rooted in method and meaning, fusing experimentation and evidence to impact the social, spatial, and political realities we inhabit.
In the wake of lockdowns and unrest, Athens became a stage for re-entry — into public space, collective thought, and radical imagination.
ICEY ARTS 2021 brought together young creators, thinkers, and researchers from across Europe for a hybrid edition of installations, interventions, and critical dialogue — all asking: What does it mean to live now?
From urban tension to digital dissonance, living itself became a subject of memory, conflict, and proposition.

ICEY ARTS 2021 took over Athens with a bold curatorial focus on idols, crisis, and collective memory. Youth from over 8 countries co-created installations, provocations, and speculative panels exploring contemporary lifestyle and the realities of sociopolitical burnout

We eliminate academic and institutional gatekeeping. No credentials required. No insider circles. If your idea challenges, questions, or proposes something real, you belong here!
We don’t believe in silos or extreme specialization. A project might be part science, part protest, part performance. The work is allowed to spill across boundaries, because real life already does.
It responds, resists, reframes. Every project is a statement of dissent, a cultural disruption, and a proposition for how things could be rebuilt. We don’t aim for applause; we aim for the possibility of change.
This is not a borrowed platform. ICEY is conceived, curated, and created by people under 40, not represented, but in control. No tokenism. No translation. Full authorship.
We work in the pressure points, where systems fail, where memory erodes, where power hides in plain sight. Our projects create tension on purpose. Not to provoke for provocation’s sake, but to expose what resists change and imagine what could take its place.
We work in real time. Our projects respond to now not in hindsight, but in the middle of unfolding crises. We don’t wait for the system to catch up, we promote the themes to exam.
We use art not to soothe, but to interfere. ICEY ARTS hosts projects that are ruptures, breaking patterns, confronting norms, and demanding attention to what matters today.
We reframe identity, politics, and digital culture through commons, sports, transdisciplinary art practices, installations, and visual interventions.
Our events are conversations, not monologues. Through panels, public interventions, and street-level dialogue, we treat discourse as a shared civic tool, not a performance.
Through talks, workshops, and symposiums, ICEY opens space for critical youth commentary and speculative futures.
We don’t do symbolic gestures. Every ICEY initiative is a real-time insertion into public, political, or urban systems, proposing tangible cultural, spatial, or civic shifts.
We activate public space and institutional frameworks to challenge exclusion, reimagine urbanity, and influence policy-making.
